MY PERSONAL REVIEW
The HigherDOSE sauna blanket is a portable infrared sauna that can be used at home. It employs infrared heat (which warms your body from the inside out, rather than the other way around), as well as healing tourmaline, clay, and charcoal (which generate negative ions). It’s made of non-toxic materials and has a very low EMF, so it won’t send radiation all over your body while you’re relaxing and sweating.
Unroll the blanket and plug it in to get started! The remote allows you to adjust the heat settings easily.

Infrared sauna benefits:
Sauna means "bathhouse" in Finnish, and heat therapy has been around for thousands of years. In the late 1800s, infrared technology was born. Saunas have been used for various purposes throughout history, including healing and illness prevention, burial preparation, and childbirth. I found it fascinating to read about the history of saunas. It was thought to be a powerful protective and life-giving force because it encompassed the circle of life.
Technology has advanced significantly since then, but many people continue to use saunas for their health and therapeutic properties. It may aid in treating aging, illness, detoxification, healthy skin, anxiety, muscle soreness, and mood. Not everyone agrees on the detoxification aspect (some say it's a myth, but I'm a firm believer in the detoxifying power of a good sweat). I've noticed that it makes my skin glow, my mood improves, and I feel zen and relaxed when it's a regular part of my routine.
SETTING UP THE HigherDOSE SAUNA BLANKET
The setup is effortless. It comes folded in a large box, and once unpacked, you plug the power and temperature controller into the port on the blanket's end side. First, I put Sweet Sweat gel all over My arms, thighs, butt, and stomach for optimal results. This gel helps the body sweat more.
The instructions recommend wearing clothes inside as a protective layer between you and the heat.
The workout clothes I wear (a sports bra, leggings, and socks). I forgot to wear socks the first time I went in. I quickly realized why this tip was highlighted. If there isn't a layer between your feet and the heat, the bottom half of the blanket seems to get a lot hotter and can be uncomfortable.
The blanket takes about 10 minutes to heat up. Then I slide in and begin at temperature 6. It's just under six feet long, which is plenty of space, my height is 5'6, and the temperature ranges from one at 68 degrees to nine at 158 degrees.
I could feel sweat dripping off of me after about 10 minutes of being inside. On most days, I do 60 minutes total, so every 20 minutes, I take out my hand and raise the temperature by one degree. The last ten minutes at level nine are a little intense, I find myself watching the clock like a hawk, but I power through. It's so worth it.
Sweat can dehydrate you because it is water leaving your body, And the evidence, you will see it right there on the blanket. It is also suggested to put a towel down inside the blanket before going in.
Cleaning up is a breeze. After the first wipe, I spray the blanket with disinfectant spray and then another wipe and leave it open to dry before putting it away. The instructions state that the blanket should be left open for at least 30 minutes to air out. After that, I roll it up and put it in a duffel bag I purchased at AMAZON. It does not come with a carrying case, but It's small enough to fit under a bed if you want to hide it. While the blanket is excellent on its own, I found that the experience was enhanced when I added a soft pillow, a soft towel for cleaning up, and wearing comfortable workout clothes.
